A little bit about myself.
I’m currently located in Atlanta, but looking to move somewhere new this year! My background is in engineering, and I was really interested in how household products that we use daily are made (anyone else really like the old Food Network show Unwrapped?). I explored a couple different types of engineering (chemical and industrial) before I realized I wanted to focus on the design of a product instead of the production.
This shift brought me to UX design, where I could learn about how design decisions are made and be able to create human-centered experiences that make a positive impact. I've found that UX design perfectly combines creativity and analysis - I'm able to assess real needs to develop creative solutions.
While I’m looking for my next opportunity, I am finishing up an online UX course and am slowly making my way through my “To Be Read” list. When I’m not working on a project or reading a good book, you can find me bullet journaling, practicing hand lettering, or taking a virtual dance class.
